About the Venue

Bahbee’s Barn wasn’t converted from an old structure — it was custom-built from the ground up, specifically designed to host weddings and celebrations. Every detail was intentional: the floor-to-ceiling weathered wood walls, crystal chandeliers, stained concrete floors, custom granite surfaces, and a grand two-story staircase built so a bride could make the entrance she always dreamed of. It’s rustic and elegant at the same time, and there’s truly nothing else like it in the region. Come see it in person — photos don’t do it justice.

We’re located in Caliente, Nevada, in Lincoln County — a peaceful, secluded setting on 60 acres of beautiful high-desert landscape. We’re approximately 2-1/2 hours from Las Vegas, 1-1/2 hours from St. George, Utah, and just over one hour from Cedar City, Utah. The drive itself is scenic and part of the experience!

The grand event hall comfortably seats up to 250 guests. Our packages are priced in two tiers — up to 100 guests, and up to 250 guests — so you only pay for what you need.

It is, and we’re proud of it. The Barn was originally built by Kevin and Rhea — “Bahbee” is the nickname Rhea’s grandchildren gave her — and is now operated by Kimberly and Lambert. When you work with us, you work directly with the owners. We’re personally invested in making your day perfect.

Weddings & Events

Absolutely — and most couples do! The venue is designed to host your entire celebration from start to finish. Your ceremony can take place in the grand hall, with the bride making her entrance down the stunning two-story staircase to the aisle. From there, the space transitions beautifully into your reception without guests ever needing to leave.

Yes! While weddings are our specialty, The Barn is a wonderful setting for quinceañeras, anniversary dinners, family reunions, baby and bridal showers, corporate retreats, school dances, class reunions, graduation parties, community concerts, and more. If you’re envisioning a celebration, we’d love to hear about it.

Of course! You are welcome to have your celebration at The Barn any time of the year. We change the general decorations to a Christmas theme around the middle of November, and change it back in early January. Since we allow you to redecorate and utilize any decorations we have as well as the other furnishings, you can re-arrange to match your vision. Have Christmas in July, or remove Christmas for a December event – whatever you want!

While our pristine indoor hall serves as the main architectural masterpiece for ceremonies, your reservation grants full access to our entire 60-acre footprint. The grounds capture a raw, authentic high-desert charm rather than manicured city garden blocks, giving your guests a ruggedly elegant playground to explore. We feature full-sized pickle-ball courts, horseshoes, a campfire ring, and open-air picnic tables. Pricing & Packages

We offer four main packages designed to fit a range of celebrations and budgets:

  • Ultimate Full Weekend Wedding (48 hours, Friday 12 PM – Sunday 12 PM): $13,400 for up to 100 guests / $14,600 for up to 250 guests
  • Premier Full Day Wedding (15 hours, 8 AM – 11 PM): $6,700 for up to 100 guests / $7,300 for up to 250 guests
  • Half Day Wedding (7 hours, morning or evening): $3,900 for the morning slot / $4,500 for the evening slot, for up to 100 guests
  • Community & Private Events (full or half day): Starting at $900

We also love putting together custom proposals for unique celebrations — elopements, large multi-family gatherings, community concerts, and more. Just ask!

Never. When you reserve The Barn, you have unrestricted access to our entire curated inventory — and we mean all of it. Tables, premium seating, white place settings, mason jar mugs, utensils, centerpieces, fairy lights, log slices, vases, floral trims, antique pieces, and even a magnificent 12-foot Christmas tree (available year-round!). Everything you see on the property is yours to use, rearrange, and make your own. You’re also welcome to bring your own decor to complement the space and complete your vision.

Most people visit us for a tour before scheduling their event, but if you are certain you would like to reserve The Barn, just send us a message and tell us which package you want and the date you are looking for. We will get back with you within 24 hours to confirm and gather any needed details. Paying your deposit and signing the contract are the final steps to reserving your date.

Because we limit our calendar to ensure each couple receives exclusive property immersion, reserved dates are taken off the market completely. While deposits are non-refundable, we know life brings unexpected turns. If you need to change your plans early enough and our team successfully re-books your date with another celebration, we will happily coordinate a full return of your deposit

To keep our pricing structure entirely transparent with zero hidden administrative fees, we do not manage automated, interest-bearing financing. However, we love flexibility! If you secure your date well in advance, you are welcome to make manual incremental contributions at your own pace leading up to the final balance window 30 days before your celebration. We can easily map out an ideal timeline for your package during your property tour.

Catering & Bar

You are welcome to bring your own caterer, if you don’t have one yet we have a list of local caterers who have expressed interest in working with you. Caterers need to be covered by their own insurance, or covered as part of your event insurance.

Yes! Our commercial-grade kitchen is fully open to the event space and built for serious cooking. It features massive granite countertops, a professional gas stove with six burners, two oversized ovens, a built-in grill, and a dedicated bar area for your hired bartender. Your caterer will have everything they need to execute a flawless meal service.

Alcohol service is permitted at your celebration provided a dedicated bartender is present. The bartender will be required to sign a separate agreement with Bahbee’s Barn, taking on responsibility for ensuring responsible alcohol consumption throughout the event.

The kitchen opens directly to the event hall, which makes service seamless. The Kitchen and Prep area are decorated and furnished as meticulously as the rest of the event space.

Getting Ready

Yes — The Bride’s Suite is a large, luxurious space featuring multiple vanities, plenty of natural light, and elegant neutral decor designed to complement any wedding color palette. It’s a calm, beautiful environment for the bridal party to get ready without feeling rushed.

We’ve got them covered too. The Groom’s Suite is a relaxed, outdoor-themed retreat with comfortable seating and game tables — a great place for the guys to unwind, have a laugh, and get ready before the ceremony.

Yes — both the Bride’s Suite and the Groom’s Suite are included with all wedding packages (Full Weekend, Full Day, and Half Day). They are not included with the Community & Private Events package. The rooms also have beautiful Queen/King sized beds which you may use during the nights of the Full Weekend package if you would like.

Location & Arrival

Bahbee’s Barn is about 2-1/2 hours from Las Vegas. It is a scenic drive through the Nevada desert and usually has very little traffic on the route.

The venue is accessed via a scenic paved road, with just the final quarter mile being a rustic dirt road — which honestly adds to the charm and the arrival experience. We’ll provide you with clear directions when you book, and we’re happy to share them with your guests as well

Yes — we have a spacious crushed granite parking area on the property with plenty of room for your guests.

Yes. Our West patio features a circular drive that leads directly into the event space through a beautifully furnished outdoor sitting area, providing the shortest and most accessible route into the barn. Please let us know about any accessibility needs when you book and we’ll make sure everything is arranged accordingly. The venue itself can be easily accessed by those who are using wheel chairs or other mobility assistance devices. The Restrooms are spacious and easily accommodate handicap needs.

Caliente, Panaca, and the surrounding Lincoln County area have several lodging options, and some couples choose to make it a full weekend getaway. Visit our Explore Lincoln County page for accommodation suggestions, local attractions, and state parks nearby. If you are scheduling to use the venue for the Full Weekend, you are allowed to use the Bride’s room and the Groom’s room, as well as our Full RV hookups.

The Property & Grounds

The Barn sits on five cultivated acres surrounded by 55 acres of private, undeveloped high-desert land. Outdoor spaces include a furnished West patio, a north patio accessible through the barn’s massive weathered doors (a stunning backdrop for bridal photos), fire rings, and family-friendly picnic areas. The property also has some beautiful neighboring horses that occasionally wander close enough to make for a truly magical photo moment.

Absolutely — the grounds are part of what you’re reserving and we encourage you to take full advantage of them. The natural high-desert landscape, the exterior of The Barn at golden hour, the weathered doors, the fire rings — it’s all yours. We have many gorgeous sunsets at The Barn, and encourage you to watch for opportunities to use them in your photos.

Yes! The grounds are open for your guests to enjoy throughout your rental period. The outdoor areas are a wonderful complement to the indoor celebration, especially during cocktail hour or after dinner. Enjoy the patios surrounding The Barn, take some time to play horseshoes, or have an impromptu pickle-ball tournament.

We specialize in destination celebrations! If you are located outside the Las Vegas or St. George areas, you can select a “Virtual Property Tour” right through our online scheduling portal. We will jump on a live video call with you, walk the grand event hall, show you the prep suites, and map out your weekend logistics in real time. Because our packages offer exclusive 48-hour multi-day timelines, you have plenty of built-in setup space, making out-of-state coordination incredibly stress-free. Tours can be scheduled as early as the next day.

Events are normally scheduled thirty or more days out (but, can be scheduled on shorter notice, if the date is available). If you need a specific date, then we recommend scheduling it early to make sure it is not reserved by someone else.

We can hold a date for seven days while you make your decision, but a deposit is required to officially secure it.
